Please note that all School Meals must be paid for in advance, using the Gateway payment system.
Our School Caterers are Herts Catering Ltd (HCL).
All children from Reception class upwards are able to order a school dinner to eat at lunchtime. For Reception and Keystage 1, these meals are free of charge. From Year 3 meals need to be paid for, unless you are entitled to benefit related - free school meals.

School meal prices for KS2 are below – The current cost of a school meal is £3.45 per day. Please be advised that this price may change in April. Parents will be informed of any changes.

School Menu: Winter Menu
Please go through the menu options with your child/ren before they come to school, so that they are familiar with what is on offer.
If your child has any food allergies, please email the school office and follow the link below to advise the Kitchen Team. HCL will confirm with you whether they are able to provide a suitable menu for your child's allergy. Please note that the kitchen team cannot provide special/ specific meals unless they have been notified via this link.
Healthy Start Vouchers
If you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you may be entitled to get help to buy healthy food and milk.
If you’re eligible, you’ll be sent a Healthy Start card with money on it that you can use in some UK shops. They will add your benefit to this card every 4 weeks.
You can use your card to buy:
- Plain liquid cow’s milk
- Fresh, frozen, and tinned fruit and vegetables
- Fresh, dried, and tinned pulses
- Infant formula milk based on cow’s milk
You can also use your card to collect:
- Healthy Start vitamins – these support you during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Vitamin drops for babies and young children – these are suitable from birth to 4 years old
