History

Summerswood are in the process of creating our own individualised curriculum for History as we want our children to grow to be great historians. We look forward to sharing this with you ready for the Autumn Term 2025.

Intent Statement

To gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world while understanding their place in history. We will promote the children's curiosity about the past, develop their questioning minds and ask perceptive questions. They will have the ability to think critically to develop perspectives and judgements.
