Summerswood has created an individualised History curriculum, as we want our children to grow into great historians.
History is taught in Autumn 1, Spring 1 and Summer 1 Terms.

Intent Statement

To gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world, while understanding their place in history. We will promote the children's curiosity about the past, develop their questioning minds and ask perceptive questions. They will be able to think critically and develop perspectives and judgments.
