Intent Statement

Design and technology encourages children to use their creativity and imagination, to design and make products within a variety of contexts.

At Summerswood Primary School, we aim to link work to other subjects such as Mathematics, Science, ICT and Art. The children also given opportunities to reflect upon and evaluate their work, its uses and its effectiveness, and are encouraged to become innovators and risk-takers as they progress through the school.
