Intent Statement

Design and technology encourages children to use their creativity and imagination, to design and make products within a variety of contexts.

At Summerswood Primary School, our aim is to enable our children to develop the skills to become innovative and imaginative designers and creators.  They are taught to consider the tools and materials they will use and be reflective of their choices.  They are encouraged to become innovators and risk-takers as they progress through the school and their skill set develops.
