The UK Food Information Amendment, also known as Natasha's Law, came in effect on 1st October 2021 and requires food businesses to provide full ingredient lists and allergen labelling on foods pre-packaged for direct sale on the premises. The legislation was introduced to protect allergy sufferers and give them confidence in the food they buy.
As a school, we will be informing parents of ingredients listed on any food products that children are given in school, or will be working with during baking sessions. This does not include school lunches, as Herts Catering Limited has their own information on their website.
