Summerswood is a two-form entry Primary School, for children from the age of 4 to 11, set in attractive grounds encompassing two playgrounds with quiet areas and a sports field.

Our vision at Summerswood Primary School is;

"for all children to become well-rounded, confident, responsible members of the community who make successful life choices to reach their full potential."

 

Reception aged children are taught the Foundation Stage Curriculum whilst children in Years 1 to 6 follow the National Curriculum.

 

Summerswood also has a Primary Support Base which offers teaching and support to children from across Hertsmere who require support with social emotional and mental health needs.
